The ROPAGANISM editorial office is a daily online news journal and is the main destination for those interested in following news and comments related to modern Paganism, Heathenry, Polytheism, Occultism, New Age and other similar religions or practices, as well as current events in the life of the Pagan community in Romania , news related to THE NEW PAGAN DAWN and issues represented by human rights, culture, education, religion and more. Since its establishment in 2019, the ROPAGANISM Editorial Office has become one of the most visited and popular destinations for exploring these topics. Our work has been translated and republished in German, Polish, Icelandic, Spanish, French, Swedish, Thai and many other languages.

Historic

In 2019, the founder of THE NEW PAGAN DAWN Association through Olteanu Cosmin and Mona Agrigoroaiei started the ROPAGANISM Editorial Office as an experiment. They wanted to create a daily blog focused on news of interest to modern Pagans. In the following years, Olteanu Cosmin together with two other editors, Onofrei Mihaela and Mona Agrigoraiei were among the only authors of the ROPAGANISM Editorial Office. During those years, interest in the work expanded. Then, in the summer of 2023, the ROPAGANISM Newsroom through THE NEW PAGAN DAWN Pagan Active Citizen Fund program was founded as a commercial company with limited liability, having official news agency activity.

The ROPAGANISM editorial office became a structure with the status of an independent entity. In December 2020, Olteanu Cosmin brought the first two weekly contributors and four monthly authors. After another year of growth and successful services, Olteanu Cosmin has relinquished his position. Cișlaru Adrian-Emil took over the position of editor-in-chief and publisher.

Since then, the ROPAGANISM Newsroom has continued to evolve into a landmark and thriving independent news channel, with 3 editors, 6 weekly writers, 10 dedicated columnists and a team of regular contributors.

The European Journalism Center (EJC) is an independent and non-profit organization based in the Netherlands. Its mission is to promote and support quality journalism and press freedom in Europe and around the world.

In June 2023, Olteanu Cosmin returns to the management of the ROPAGANISM Newsroom as editor-in-chief and administrator, obtaining the independence status of the Newsroom by establishing it as a commercial company with limited liability and moving the headquarters to Jimbolia, Timiș county, Romania.

Mission

Our mission is to serve our global audience daily with news and commentary, originating from the Pagan, Heathen and Polytheist communities, or news on issues affecting these communities.

Additionally, we propose a free debate platform based on citizen journalism through which we discuss topics such as human rights, religion, spirituality, youth, culture, politics, education and the arts.

Who finances the ROPAGANISM Editorial Office?

The ROPAGANISM editorial office is a tax-sponsored project by the non-profit organization THE NEW PAGAN DAWN, but we also support ourselves from our commercial activities, such as advertising contracts, services we provide for other clients, and much more.

The headquarters of the ROPAGANISM Editorial Office is in Jimbolia City, Salcîmilor str., no. 1, Timiș county.

The company has as its sole partner the NEW PAGAN DAWN Association from Bucharest, Sergent Tache Gheorghe str., no. 4B, Sector 4, Romania and is represented by the administrator, Olteanu Cosmin.
